ARTIST IN RESIDENCE. February’s artist David McBeth, a talented potter, will be building on the residency he completed last year, focusing on surface design on dinnerware. He intends to fill his day with pot making, reading, writing poetry, and drawing, soaking in the winter world around him and discovering how those images reappear on the surface of his work. He intends to explore how the collective of the dining table can tell stories through plates, bowls, cups and platters. As a passionate knitter, David is also looking forward to spending some quiet time in the gallery, practicing advanced knitting techniques.

David plans to be working in the gallery from 10 AM —5 PM, Monday through Friday. If the “Open” flag is flying, he is there and welcomes visitors to join him! His work can be viewed on Facebook and Instagram at Walker Pond Pottery.
