Everything astounds in “Free Form,” the latest show at the Deer Isle Artists Association that runs from July 2 – 14. Painting, woodworking, jewelry, fiber, pottery, mixed media; viewers will find a number of surprising interpretations of this theme by local artists at the DIAA Gallery. Appearing in this show are Marianne Alweis, Steve Ettlinger, Avery Falkner, Jill Finsen, Alan Flowers, Jeri Gillin, Rachel Gordon Bernstein, Cathy Hart, Emily Johansen, David McBeth, Rachel Melton, Leslie Miller Landrigan, Carolyn Raedle, Cynthia Stroud-Watson, Oscar Turner, and Pat White. In the Art Rack will be work by Elizabeth Braunhut, Lynn Duryea, Judith Felch, Susan Finsen, Leslie Muller, Cynthia Stroud-Watson, and Tracy Van Buskirk.
