The Theme for the 4th of July Parade is ‘Children’s Story Books’

• 10K Road Race and Fun Run – Bib pickup begins at 6:30 a.m. at Island Community Center in Stonington.
• Oasis Cafe – 9 a.m to 12 p.m. at Deer Isle-Sunset Congregational Church.
• Parade – In Deer Isle at 10 a.m. with Jane and Sally McCloskey as Grand Marshalls. The Parade will be preceded by a dedication to Larry Snowden at 9:45 a.m. followed by the Color Guard and the National Anthem.
• Mason’s Lobster Dinner – 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. at the Masonic Hall in Deer Isle.
• Stonington Fish Pier Events – 5 p.m. Food and entertainment with live musical entertainment by Palomino with Derrick and the Diggers and a magician’s show & balloon animals for the kids by Conjuring Carroll.
• Fireworks in Stonington Harbor – 9:15 p.m.
