Independence Day Celebrations

Lupine Festival 2016Food, music, events, live entertainment and, of course, fireworks.

10K and Fun Run kick off from the Island Community Center in Stonington at 8am. Parade in Deer Isle Village at 10am. Oasis Café at Deer Isle Congo Church during the parade. Lobster Feed at the Masonic Hall in Deer Isle at 12pm. Events on the Stonington Commercial Fish Pier kick off at 5pm! Food vendors, Hula Dancing, Live Music, the Magic of Conjuring Carroll plus much more! Fireworks will begin in Stonington around 9:15pm (rain date is Tuesday, July 5th).

The Island Community Center, the Island Recreation Board, the Town of Stonington and all the downtown businesses are joining together to create a full day of fun for the little ones.9:30am: Costume Judging at Island Community Center
10am: Trick or Treat Parade through downtown Stonington
11am: Pumpkin Carving & Decorating at ICC with Island Rec Board
12pm: Halloween Activities at Stonington Opera House
